Not from manhassett just a fan. Over the years wantagh had teams that should have won including this year. Parents run those coaches. Non of the past coaches have been strong enough or non tenured so makes you vulnerable.
Wantagh last won in 2017 (C's) and before that 2015 (B's). They made semi's in 2016 and finals in 2018, 2019, & 2021. No 2020 due to Covid. In 2018 & 2019 they lost in finals to Cold Spring Harbor who went on to win states both years. Not too shabby. They always have a lot of talent but they have also had at least 5 coaching changes in the 7 years. Lack of consistency is an issue from a coaching perspective. Parents are parents and they ar no worse than other teams.

seems like the talent is there, why the constant turnover in coaches???
