How's everyone feeling about mandatory COVID vaccines although not FDA approved in order to dorm and attend college next month?
I am very happy about it. It is the only way for these kids to have a normal college year. All of my kids (HS and college) are vaccinated and it was the right thing to do. Why would you not want your kid to to get it?
Same- very happy! Exactly, why wouldn’t you not want your kid to get it? If you do not want to get vaccinated to protect yourselves from getting sick- science, not politics. Than stay home and don’t go outside to become a human Petri dish for more mutants of the virus to develop. Thus , making the situation even worse for everyone. Or, go outside and play Russian roulette with your life? If your kids not vaccinated, please have them stay home and do remote learning. Could save their life and yours
If "x" is vaccinated and "y" is not, how is "y" hurting "x"? Science is already showing that vaccinated individuals are STILL getting COVID.
Because they are risking putting stress on our health care system. They are much more likely to exhibit severe symptoms and increase the risk of another shutdown/ limitation of normal activities
that is curious. when there was no vax the healthcare system was not taxed too much. so why will it be now genius?
Um... we are getting over a pandemic where over 600,000 Americans died. There were not enough beds in many hospitals to handle the sick. If you don't want the vaccine, don't get it. But please stay home and keep your kids online for college while everyone else get on with their lives. The question was asked about how people felt about the mandated vaccine. It doesn't really matter how you feel. The universities are mandating it for a reason, it's not up for debate! Stop being so selfish and be part of the solution, not the problem. There is something called public health. Look it up.
