Maybe Wantagh will return to a Baseball/Softball town. (Always has been a baseball town for boys.)
In the past few years they have won county championships in girls lax, state champs in baseball and wrestling, and LI champs in football.
Agreed...I doubt the folks in Wantagh are worried, they win a lot of championships.
1 county championship, that's it, and got blown out by ESM in LI championship;.
Actually...2 county championships in the past 3 years, plus most of those years they played in the toughest division in the State, you know the one with GC and Manhasset. Again, Wantagh wins a lot of championships in numerous sports.
Well certainly not this year, CSH win looks like a real fluke when you see them lose 11-2 to pequa and pequa's best player didn't even play in the game
