As for the tournament team you speak of & kids from other towns; that did happen. Not sure your point holds up considering the best kids then turned into your best players today. Your senior pole, goalie, face-off man, crease attack man and senior middie, who was hurt all year, were all on that team and they brought in other players so they could compete because there was no other talent, just like today. The program went downhill when parents like you felt entitled to be part of a great lacrosse program simply because you lived in West Islip; delusional. Parents like you would rather complain than help their son put in the work. Parents like you expect all the benefits of a top program while never contributing anything towards that success. By the way, the program dropped long before this group became seniors.



So the program is good or not good? Make up your mind here. Was the talent not good enough or was it the parents? Please clarify your statement.
