Many good face-off kids on LI. 2020 Chaminade kid is the best on LI. 2019 open for discussion

The Cham 2020 is not the best, not by a long shot. I've seem him be beat good by many of the other top 2020. He is hot and cold, and a baby when he loses, pretends to be hurt. The ST. A 2020 is much better than him.

Totally disagree with your analysis. Cham kid definitely better.

He's not bad on the field, but not consistent at the X. I've seen him go against the other 2020s from the Island, and NYC. St. A kid is quicker than him. He's also been beat by a couple others, and has also beaten them. I wouldn't really say that any of the 2020s have truly separated themselves at the X. I would say Cham kid is the best field play of the bunch however.

Throughout these threads all I see is because they go to private school that seems to make them the best. Throughout the league their are some great FO specialists who don't get the credit because they are not on these teams. Many schools have sophomore and freshman starting at X and doing a great job against committed seniors. These kids are also "true Freshman and true Sophomores" The private schools are very good, but let's give some love to the kids whose parents chose to send them to public school.

No one is saying a player is better simply because of the school they attend. There are individual players who have proven themselves on a national level during the summer circuit and game after game at the high school level. That is why they may be considered better on an individual basis, then other players. If they attend a “private” school so be it. When you talk about “private” schools on LI, you really mean Catholic. This is not Maryland. To insinuate that because a kid goes to Chaminade or St As, they are not a “true freshman” or “true sophomore” is ludicrous. Obviously there are some holdbacks, but 90% of the kids are in the appropriate grade for their age. There of plenty of public school holdbacks too. But again, this is not Maryland so the issue is minor.
