I watched the YJ16 coach run up the score after the all star/ YJ game. Opponenets parents from another state were upset and you made yet another club dislike the organization.
As we said, the flip side of holding the ball on the perimeter. Some suggestions to improve the youth game might include:
An eight or ten goal mercy rule with at least 75% of the game played.
A 45-second shot clock that denies static play on the offensive end.
After a five goal lead, the trailing team automatically receives the faceoff.
As we have said, the real issue is that there is no common league structure that allows for the consistent evaluation of teams on a competitive level to properly balance competition.
