The Taz has been inserting and trying to find boys to beat the WP since 2nd grade. They went on a run 2 years ago and prior to that the WP went on a run. They hired the CT kid to come down and try to help, not very successful. Now they have 2 bigger boys who are good, that have the puberty thing on their side and some would say a grade. The WP has had 90% of the team stay the same and are still the winningest team at this grade level over the last 4 years. It seems the Taz sits in a war room every season trying to figure out how to beat this one team but loses to ML every time and drops one to TB and the good Eclipse team. Keep in mind this was box lax which "give the ball to the Big Kid is actually a play" No one knows what will happen this summer and we will all see very soon. Taz puts a lot of time in recruiting to beat the WP and kudos to them, but its not working for the overall win % when you are dropping games to those 3 teams. Great job guys, you did it and its well deserved but keep it in prospective..you need to have victories across the board in the 2024 class to flex your chests. The WP has beat every good team at this level 1 or more times, the Taz has not. Cant argue it. Now go ahead and bash the post. Typical
that will be your down fall. Keep saying the team has been the same. Kids are starting to surpass your kids . Nothing wrong with teams trying to grow and become stronger. Those kids are not just Big, they are Prob some of the most talented kids at the age group. Box is a much different game than out-doors, but if you won , I am sure your post would read much different.

You are both correct, on basically every point. WP is the most successful team at this age, to date, based on record. Taz's primary goal (mild obsession?) has always been to beat WP. Taz has gone out every year to better their team, by aggressively recruiting new players that can help them, in pursuit of that goal. I don't think any knowledgeable person on the topic would dispute any of those statements. So, is that in some way an unfair or unethical practice? Of course not. This is what all successful travel teams do. This is travel youth sports, and in travel sports the goal is to win. Well done, Legacy. Taz will beat their other Nemesis, Madlax, with relative ease, this year. You heard it here first. Take that one to the bank. But to say kids are surpassing any of these kids, isn't accurate either. These are still the two best teams at this age, with the majority of the best talent, anywhere. That hasn't changed. Other than maybe Express and a couple of MD teams, there still is no team that can compete with either team. I look forward to many more heated battles between these two great teams. Great kids and parents on both sides.
