I assume you meant 800-1000 for the spring league in addition to regular fees. I would definitely do that, then my kid doesn't have to play with their crappy town team in the spring.
You'll be playing a crappy yj team instead, after the top team the drop off is very significant
How do you TG people keep posting this after losing to the 3 level U15 team. YJ deep with multiple good teams at every age
