Its not the program its the player. In the lacrosse world you are responsible for getting your daughter trained to be the best player she can be. The clubs responsibility is to get your daughter on the field in front of college coaches. YJ will be going to the Elite 8 tournament(only the top 8 teams in the 23 age group are invited) in August and I'm sure the field will be lined with coaches now its up to my daughter to play her game to get noticed.

Your post is pretty spot on except that the Tournament you speak about is not the 8 Top teams but rather 8 most liked teams of the tournament director.

What top team was excluded and who should they replace in this Elite 8 tournament?

Here we go....get ready for the whining Jesters and Legacy parents thinking they belong (not). The best teams were picked. It is the most important event of the season. This is why you need to choose your club wisely.[/quo

first off my kid will be attending that tourn. But please the most important? Dont think so! By that time coaches know whos on their list of recruits. Yes they can watch them again but all those great kids on teams not there have zero to worry about.
On choosing a club. I would go to a club that has lots of teachers that coach. TG is run by a group of uneducated people. SS only one with a degree in that fam. Then you have a hundred college kids with no coaching experience other than TG coaching. YJ hires lots of teachers

So your saying the day before recruit contact isn’t important to make a good impression on a coach. It’s 8 teams the coaches can focus on just them. We have teachers that coach high school teams that are clueless but at least they are teachers.
