too try to answer your question (not really) I am not sure "who THEY are, but you seem a little paranoid and usually when people have to "get back on their feet" it implies metaphorically that they have been knocked down figuratively not literally.

IE - Smithtown East took their season ending defeat hard, but don't worry they will get back on their feet and have a great season in 2018
