I hear what you are saying but if you could please answer honestly. Did he play on a travel team in 5th grade? Do you think that experience helped get him that invite? What do you think was more of a catalyst on the invite his HS or his travel play?

They did ask about his SAT's

He has played travel lacrosse since second grade, he has played on many teams, we never tried out for the "top" teams and winning a tournament was never a priority, although winning is a lot of fun. His HS coach has been the biggest part of his recruiting
