There are lots of clubs that have a philosophy that wins and losses don't mean anything and that there will be equal time for all regardless of the score. I seriously doubt that anybody in the travel lacrosse world thinks for a minute that playing time is going to be equal at this level, and particularly anybody that posts here on BOTC. If you come on this site more then once a year you know that playing time is not equal on Express or pretty much any other team.


I agree and disagree. Some teams will have kids travel but not play them and that is wrong. Barring behavior issues, if a kid is good enough to have his fees taken he should play or the coach should let him and his parents who are paying upfront. Should play time be equal…nope, but each kid should see a decent amount of time on the field. It is hard to watch sometimes but at this level parents are paying for exposure. There shouldn't be 30 kids on a team and coaches shouldn't pad the teams with older kids.
