And the Spalding JV team team beat BL JV team. Next year will be a different outcome once the JV team moves up to varsity. The current varsity team should ALL be cut, they are over hyped by their hot head daddy’s. Can’t wait for the shake up next year.
Signed,
Disgruntled JV dad.

So with the Spalding JV team featuring at least one player migrated from V, what does that mean for playoffs?

There is no V player who is playing with JV. There was a V goalie who played in 2 games while the JV goalie was out and before he played in any MIAA V games. Get your facts straight.

Honestly who cares about JV lacrosse?
Most of the kids on JV teams will never see the field at most MIAA schools. Their careers will end after sophomore season

Oh look it's John Carroll dad. 90% of all MIAA players will play at least one season on JV. It would be mathematically impossible to build a 22 man (6-9-5-2) roster (the kids who capture 90% of PT) built only on the 1-4 kids who made varsity as freshmen every year for 4 years.

The statement you made is true at a few schools (CHC, BL) as it pertains to fresh-soph team kids getting serious PT at varsity. But you still never know....some kids are late bloomers, some are new lax players (becoming more and more rare in our area). A few will surprise coaches and recruiters in 12th grade. But not many.
