Wont ever happen in Garden City or Manhasset no matter what. Just a fact. Different philosophy that other smaller towns. Big difference in Maturiy between a 13/14 year old and an 18 yr old. Do not be so eager for them to grow up too fast. Be careful for what you wish for. If they get hurt you will never forgive yourself.
It has NEVER happened in Garden City or Manhasset EVER? Look back over the years, I believe you are wrong. Have you ever seen a 14 year old that looks like he/she is 18? Ever see an 18 year old who looks like they are 14? For the most part there is a difference in maturity between a 14 & 18 year old but, there are always exceptions. Some kids mature much faster than others. As it has been explained here (in a few posts) there are tests, applications, forms, a long process in which these kids are considered to play up. I dont think many parents, coaches, AD's or players take this lightly. Thanks for your "concern" though.
