Well, its a 9th grade student taking a photo with a D1 coaching staff, you don't see the issue with that? I have never seen that in ANY sport when a kid commits early. Schools NEVER acknowledge the commitment publicly. Meanwhile this is CONSTANT banter in media in all sports about early recruiting, and there might be a tiny bit of issues going on at that university right now anyway (AD, football, concussions, HELLO!)


To your valid point, lacrossecoaches posted this on Twitter. Plenty of rookie moves going on in the lacrosse world these days.

That's actually not true. The coaching staff or school can't take that picture, but the family can do whatever they want. Happens all of the time in football. Nothing that Xanders or the Lombardi family did was considered wrong. Perfectly fine, actually.
