Cutoff in NY is December 31st. My son would be in 7th grade now if we didn't live in NY. At 5'10 and 190 lbs, he would be a difference maker as a middie. Being the youngest kid on his team, he still starts, but didn't make 9d1 Blaze.
12/1 is the school cutoff, not 31st. And also thanks for the combine like write up of your boy.
190 in 7th or 8th grade does jump off the page, but not for the right reasons. way too heavy!

The state sets the cutoff by calendar year (Dec 31st) but MOST SDs on Long Island are Dec 1. Unless you live in one of the few SDs that actaully use the state's Dec 31st date, you are incorrect.
