Reason so many left YJ ‘23. Both coaches tried to promote their daughters so much it became more than embarrassing. They lost many good players because of it, and all the hype did not pay off for those girls in the end, and hurt many other deserving players. No place for parent coaches. Just represents a conflict of interest.
Reason who left YJ 23?? That team merged with Igloo. The only girls who exited were the ones who didn’t make the A team. Not one girl left the A team that made it. Think they also ran the table last summer and won the mid Atlantic tourney which is the biggest tournament. Take a look at their commits. With transfer portal bottom of rosters won’t be going top 20 anymore. 24 parents, transfer portal is going nowhere. Programs you once thought were safeties may in reality be where your daughter fits. it’s not 2012 anymore

Newsflash... The bottom of the rosters never went to Top 20 Programs, Less than 10 players on the best teams from Long Island go to Top 20 Programs. Maybe 6 - 7 players from the 2 or three top teams will commit to legit Top 20 Programs.
