And looks like Crush got the lucky draw being the only team that only has to play 1 of the other top teams while everyone else has to play at least 2. Also looking at the bracket only 4 teams make it (even though for the last few years 7th grade had 6 teams). Just doesn’t seem like the time to cut back when adding one large bracket of 15 teams and they increased the 8th grade bracket to 8 teams
How many playoff teams you get looks to be dependent on number of teams in division because even some younger years get 6-8. Initially 2028A had 16 teams which would have meant 6 teams would go to playoffs but then one team dropped down leaving only 15. As a result, 2028A only gets 4 teams in playoffs while 2028B gets 8.
