Nowhere to go for 91 kids going to high school. Rosters are stacked and full unless they go to the all star teams.

For parents with older kids that played - is there generally more or less turnover on teams going into the 9th grade? I've heard there tends to be more but it's not obvious why. It seems like it should be less since there are no more holdbacks being added.
