That draw does seem weighted. Was there thought put into that or just the way it shook out?
It’s an express run tourney; they need a few gimme games to keep the parents happy.
Is it really to keep the parents happy? That’s been a competitive team for a few years now so wouldn’t parents want/expect to compete against the best teams? Sounds more like the organization doing damage control to protect the brand a get a few wins against weak teams. Rebels even have a harder schedule, which is a hysterical in itself.
