I know for a fact at least one of the players tried for the Long Island Team and did not make it. Maybe UA has to rewrite tryout rules.

Were any LI girls turned away from attending the NE tryout? Or did just 2 girls pursue their desire to play even if it meant trying again after being cut from one team? Sounds like two determined girls. If they enjoyed themselves then the extra steps taken to make a team was a great decision. Hopefully, they earned a spot by having a solid tryout.

Both players tried for LI and were cut - just like the other 120 or so other girls who tried out for THEIR region. UA and their underhanded politics is a complete joke. However, this also falls on the parents as well. What are we teaching these young ladies? You got cut - but wait there is a loophole and I'll make some calls and you can tryout again for New England so you can say you made UA. I can;t wait to see the bumper sticker on the back of their car.
