Both girls are great players and play very differently. They complement one another and the team is lucky to have them. That said, it is a team, and one player, no matter how many accolades she has on her resume, does not make a team. All of the girls on the team try their best and all of the girls on the team make plenty of mistakes. When you watch teams like Manhassett or Garden City play, you can hardly pick out one player from the next because they play as a unit. This can never happen when the coach devotes all of her attention to one player. Not taking anything away from that one player- she is great- but unless all of the strengths on the team are utilized, Huntington will never really be able to compete.
