I don't think you can equate business with lacrosse. Business is about supporting yourself and your family. Lacrosse is not and is never going to lead to money being earned. Yes, you may get a scholarship, but I think it's been pointed out here that college coaches do not pay much attention to what goes on in HS sports so running up the scores doesn't add value to a scholarship.

Running up a score is about bragging rights and some (misguided, IMO) public acclaim. If you can rack up the points in a game then clearly your opponent is not strong and therefore the points you earned don't indicate skill so much as taking advantage of an opportunity to self-aggrandize.
