Anyone elses notice the Ref’s are really calling games tight in regard to defense.. I’ve watched 2 games so far this season and every contact a defender makes with their stick ( even if its straight up) is called a push/cross check and every stick check is called either a slash or across the body.. it almost impossible to play defense
are you looking for the "grey" in the rule not the black and white.
reaching across is a foul, and I didnt think they could make any (Body) contact with their stick 9/10 times it is a push that never gets called?
