If the UA rules on eligibility do not restrict the kids to the region where they attend school, then the parents are not violating any rules. Change the rule on eligibility, don't dame the parent/kid who tries out for the event.
Similarly, the US Lacrosse organization should change their US "Championships" rules to restrict the number of teams from one club… or stop giving "automatic bids." Let the teams qualify each year from each region. You might see more teams coming to the regionals to qualify.





ELIGIBILITY: Boys and girls who, in July 2015, will have just completed their freshman (grad. year - 2018), sophomore (grad year- 2017) or junior (grad year- 2016) high school season. You must live within the geographic region* for the team you are trying out for and be in good academic standing.

SELECTION: Each player must register for their geographic region*.Players will be judged by a panel of knowledgeable sources including coaching experts from that region. Each team will consist of a maximum of 24 players and will be chosen based on position and their performance at that day's tryout. Walk up registration will cost $190 for boys and $130 for girls.
