Both goalies were outstanding. It was a exciting game back and forth to the end. Both teams battled the entire game and played with a lot of emotion. Westhampton scored the second overtime goal to tie with under a minute left. Westhampton scored on the second position in sudden death for the win.
It was a nice program win for Westhampton. A program that is no doubt on the rise. The participation numbers from K to 6th grade are strong on the youth levels. The program should be competitive in the years to come.
Maybe but they have underperformed this year , they have lost to several teams that they should not have and have gotten blown out by some teams that they should have been able to compete with. Still a nice win and they are better than their record which makes them dangerous in the playoffs.
