This isn't just a top 10 university thing. Go look at rosters in the middle of the D1 pack. There is nothing wrong with it but parents just need to be informed that it does happen. The kid that wanted to be an engineer amazingly changes to an exercise science major with the rest of her team so she can go to the school and stay eligible to play lacrosse.
