Literally the worst possible take of all time. Yes, let's prep them for college by making sure they will struggle to get recruited due to making such a drastic change for recruiting year. Because, "hey, college players and coaches change all the time". SMH. Not affiliated with SW in any way, but as a parent I would be livid with this decision. Now the team has to learn new offensive and defensive philosophies on the fly this fall, and try to execute in front of coaches, with very little practice time. Expect play to decline significantly, and players/parents to struggle with direction and plans to showcase all the kids equally. Just my thoughts...

If a club's style changes as a result of a coaching change, the blame needs to be at the club directors/owners, not the coach. The best clubs play similar (though not identical) styles across all teams and ages.

What noone here is saying, but I think most parents are thinking, though, is "Will SW be able to recruit as effectively without mike? The 26s should give an early sign, but that is the uncertainty, not who is coaching.

Like someone else mentioned, recruiting coaching calls are made my directors not age group coaches.
