Literally the worst possible take of all time. Yes, let's prep them for college by making sure they will struggle to get recruited due to making such a drastic change for recruiting year. Because, "hey, college players and coaches change all the time". SMH. Not affiliated with SW in any way, but as a parent I would be livid with this decision. Now the team has to learn new offensive and defensive philosophies on the fly this fall, and try to execute in front of coaches, with very little practice time. Expect play to decline significantly, and players/parents to struggle with direction and plans to showcase all the kids equally. Just my thoughts...

Stop. The sky isn't falling. The girls will have the old and new coaches to advocate for them if need be. You act as if girls ever changing clubs is an insurmountable death nell for recruiting. It isn't. Girls will show up in showcases or id camps, coaches will watch and things will be status quo.

The offense and defense will be no worse than before any change. Defense was pretty solid and straight forward with man2man- that travels from coach to coach unless they switch to zone. Offense was mostly solid, but was based off of simple motion, so added concepts shouldn't be a big drag. These are competitive 27s, not 29s; girls are athletic and skilled in their own right. They should be able to get up to speed with good coaching pretty quickly.

If it bothers you too much, focus on your own team- assuming you aren't a SW parent stirring the pot.
