Very solid win for MDU

Could Pride or SW pull a surprise win vs the top 5?

There are no moral victories between the top 5. The gap between the top 5 is very narrow. Any one of them are capable of beating each other on any given day.

The top 5 are all competitive with each other as you mention and really separate from the rest of A. However, the Crush Coppermine game wasn't as close as the score indicated.

Crush / Coppermine not as close as the score indicated ?
Game started with Crush 1-0, then tied 1-1, then Crush 2-1, then Copperrmine answers with 4 to make it 5-2, then Crush battles back to 5-3, then Coppermine answers with 2 to take a 7-3 lead. Then Crush battles back to 7-6 but runs out of time... really not close at all?...Ok

I can't comprehend the thought process that anyone uses to say a game wasn't as close as a score indicated. The score is exactly how close a game is. The only time any score may indicate a game wasn't as close as a score would indicate is when a handicapping system is used and points are added or subtracted from one team/person, e.g., golf. Since that isn't the case with lacrosse, the score is the indicator of the "closeness" of a game. No extra/fewer points are given based on when the points are scored.

-What the original poster meant is that it was a 3 goal lead for Coppermine with about 9 minutes left in the game and that held until about 2 mins left, when Crush scored making it a 2 goal game. Then scored another just before time expired. So the point was that Coppermine wasn't really in danger of losing in the final few minutes.[/quote]

What the original poster really meant was they were scared ....less until the clock ran out. Then it wasn't even close.
