So we are clear the payoff in the end IS NOT MONEY!! It is entrance into a better school than you could have gotten into without lacrosse, period!
My sentiments exactly. We are not looking for scholarships. Please; they are few and far between. But the additional aspect of being a possible D1 level lacrosse player might bring a greater acceptance into an institution that regularly turns away 2000 valedictorians a year. Great academics combined with a great lacrosse pedigree can possibly add up to a small higher chance at acceptance to a great school. This has been seen again and again.
We would easily turn down a full scholarship to a lesser school for acceptance to a greater academic school.
