no you are wrong. Garden City was a pure 2022 team with no 'guest' players. United and Igloo too, from what our son tells us. Express, Smash, Hawks, Diamondbacks all great teams but not pure rosters.
it depends what environment you want your son in. there is no right or wrong but there should be a way to keep the playing field even when some of the players are twice as big as others.
expect to see a lot of different helmets at various tryouts this year, and a lot more teams stepping to compete at the highest level.
