Answer to why burn the jersey: So they (Lady Rebels) won't beat the YJs anymore thus eliminating YJ competition. And in the process of the "deal" weakened the competition by taking players from the TG Black team. Masterful and effective business move by the YJ.
Wondering why a rebel discussion is even on a 2021 heading? Rebels have been around for several years and was never a 2021 deal. Are they becoming a club of their own and expanding into more age groups? Is the 2021 team all TG players?
Because there is a 2021 LI Lady Rebels team coming down to Baltimore next weekend to play M&D and at least one other team that I know of. Just wondering who they are
Should be Elevate - they were the 3rd best team in the age group last summer - had good games with YJ and beat TG
And got run off the field by M&D so bad that the M&D goalie played the field in the second half.
Elevate is not as strong this year. They lost s bunch of starters and replaced with lesser talent.
Have you seen this new team play? If you say yes - you are not being honest because my friends daughter is on the team and was on the team last year and said that they have some new girls that are very good - but they haven't played together enough to even know if they are better than last year. She said they may be slightly better but not enough to beat YJ who they had good games with last year. So unless you have watched them - which is highly unlikely - you don't know all the new girls that replaced the old ones. If you know one that might not be as good - that wouldn't be a good assumption for the entire new group.
