Email the club is a waste of time. But you should absolutely ask parents who have kids on the team or know someone who does. Finding out the needs/weaknesses of the team is very important. This is huge before you plunk down 150 bucks for a tryout. If your son is a lefty attack man and both lefty attack man are coaches kids……don’t waste your time. Knowing the needs and weaknesses of a team is huge to see if it’s worth it for your kid to tryout. Some club directors are more accessible than others. You aren’t getting on the phone with Brian Spallina, but Channenchuck cell phone is listed on the express website. My kids have never played for express but he’s very accessible. Rebels and Legacy directiors seem pretty accessible but shire to shore not so much. At the same breath don’t take directors words on what their needs are. They will never tell you “we are set at attack”. They want as many kids to show up for tryouts for the money. Best of luck.
