Unfortunately this is true, you have to do what’s right for you and your kid. Can’t get caught up in other people’s journeys. I know kids who are totally fine not playing as much but being on a better team. That’s fine. It’s also fine to be on a lesser team and be a student. It’s all fine as long as both parents and kids understand their role and are having fun! Period
