All this chasing to be on the best team and the clubs recruiting and planning to be the best is silly. The top teams will be the top teams, why? Because the best kids aren't going to worse team. Mergers and player movement means nothing, you only play 10 and teams will shorten the bench in big games and make it up in blowouts. So... if your son is not a starter encourage him to keep a positivd attitude and work hard and move up the depth chart and/or do some research and look for options. You all should be focused the best spot/club to get your son prepared for the next level. You want to settle in on a team this season and stay with that coach and team for the next several years as kids get ready for next level. Point is, get on the best team you can coupled with being a solid contributor during big games.

This my humble pre tryout advice.

Ps make sure you have a coach that is dedicated.
