Yes they made sure that their kids would play even more minutes without helping the team.

Top 3-5 right attack in the country!! Thats so good. Didnt he come from Moose! He must be super talented, spent the first 7 years of his career playing behind a beer den. While I am sure he is very good, there are numerous players who will reclass and fly in, so it would be a shock if this holds up. But i like the wishful thinking by his dad.

Kid is a student. Made WS 1st Team, so yes, is a top 3 attackman in the country

Cardinal sin, commenting on your own child. This guy prob runs his kids Insta account. News flash, WS all star team means nothing. Top attack from previous World Series are no longer top. WS is not an indicator of your sons future ability nor does it deem him an automatic UNC commit as your top 3 would suggest. Let’s slow down, make your kid better and come back here in 3 years when he's lucky to be top 250.

What we can say say is we told you so. This time is not different.

For an attack to be nasty you need a great player at X and horses at midfield. Doubtful Express pulled that off.

I don't have a 29 not an express kid, but they did pull off getting and INSANE middy. Likely the best playing on age on LI.

Not quite. Enjoy the dad. He’s a real gem.

Best and insane LI middies for 2029 play for Venom and Legacy. Next best is kid on Rebels. This pickup by Express is good for them since team was lacking offensive weapons but this specific middie has no left and takes a lot of ill advised shots. Maybe with team and coaching change he will blossom into a more team oriented player and attain his true talent abilities.

Where did the middy come from ?

I would agree, posting on your child is a bad look. I would also agree that top 3 World Series has no value. Also based on current knowledge, there is a better righty attack on Express 29, reclass, but the player is very good. The left attack from igloo is also very good, so they have a very strong front 3. They are a couple years away from when it matters, but think these 3 will be very good at that point.

Bashing must be coming from Chaos. Their attack other than X is very suspect. Righty if open has quick wrists and dangerous but typically not against top poles who smother him due to lack of speed and agility. Lefty attack being protected by daddy ball. Wouldn’t play close to the minutes he does on any of the top LI teams and definitely wouldn’t start. Reality will hit them hard soon. 91 begging for players and trying to poach with promises of starting and free rides. Continue to bolster defense which didn’t need bolstering. Those defenders and parents must be so happy that team remained loyal - Ha! Fly-ins coming soon to challenge reclasses of Xpress.

Multiple Venom kids are reclassing. Another year and that Chaos attack situation will look quite different. That’s been common knowledge for awhile now. If you were a prospective parent with a child being approached by 91, you would probably take that into account before committing to them. In fact, any player looking to go to 91 or Express should do their homework on the kids from the ‘28 teams. 91 was hardly the only team poaching this year. I’ve seen this in 2 or 3 posts now about them poaching, like they are the only ones. Express took the cake this year, giving free club tuition and high school perks.

Express 2029’s has three former 2028’s on its roster.

Rebels quietly amassing a very competitive/dominant team while 91 and Express continue to take $ from its starstruck parents raising tuition to cover all the scholarships handed out to give to outside players taking spots of loyal players. Igloo on the way down even if they merge with Legacy. Maybe add Moose and make it a trifecta merger.

Rebels are a good program but will never compete. Nothing against them, but no need to be comparing yourself with the top 2. Igloo moose rebels shore all in the same boat.

Rebels have very good coaches at this age group. And they have 2-3 real good players who would be locks to start on any other team on LI.

It’s the parents at Rebels that are world class. Never seen anything like it. Consistent at every age group. 1-2 kids that can play and 20-30 parents that can’t stfu. Lowest of the low class. We go to tournaments early to watch Rebels parents. No joke favorite past time.

So express got rid of every 29 coach and they have 3 teams? Why get rid of every coach? Or they went off to coach younger teams?

That coach will be removed soon. Express will not allow dad coaches as they move into high school just ask the 2027 team.

Rebels need to accept mediocrity as they will be a top 100 team not top 50. Igloo going from 10 to out of top 25. Express will move top 25 and chaos will stay top 10. Shore needs a nap, and the moose knuckles are stuck in the middle of the road.

91 and Express will look totally different next year as reclasses will be allowed to play and fly ins will become more prevalent. Those two teams will be heavily recruited.

Winners

Express - replaced head coach with owner/director. Team will aim to win at all costs. Brought in offensive firepower with the best right handed attackman and best left handed attackman in the grade on LI.

Losers
Everyone else

Igloo - lost 2 best offensive players to Express. Rumors of merging with another team? What is going on here? This was supposed to be the team that changed the long island travel landscape going forward.
91 - will have to wait another year for the reclasses to upgrade the offense.
Rebels - some good players, good coaches, who is replacing the 28’s? Have to prove they’re not the Sting of the past
Legacy - messy, messy, messy
Moose - it was fun while it lasted; some nice players who will do well on other teams in the future

Every team will have some challenges, reclasses will be on every team both on island and off not sure how anyone thinks 91 this year was a top 10 team they were fine but proved nothing beyond they were no different then any Li team. Express there is only one ball on the field at a time let’s see what they can do first before we put them at the top lots of egos to be fed there. Igloo-tbd still plenty of talent on both sides of the ball. Rebels added but did they add top talent ? I thought all the best players went to express and 91? Moose will be interesting wouldn’t surprise if they a shock a few teams every once in a while. Then the rest….

91/Express are winning, everyone else is playing for third. Or should we say everyone else is playing to stay in the Top 100. Chaos is far and away the best team. Express got better, but 3 new offensive players aren’t going to magically turnt hem in to a top 10 team. Chaos will remain top 10 and more than likely continue to get stronger.

I’m still confused about all this banter about 91/express winning …. At this point isn’t club lacrosse about helping kids at this age get better and ready for HS? And hopefully improve enough to have a chance to play at some level of college? Or am I totally off base here isn’t that what people pay for ? Talent comes from all different places as is evident from most top d1 rosters no one can argue rosters are more geographically diverse than ever before and it’s only going to continue as the sport grows . It comes down to the athlete not the club team they play on …. Neve has so who really cares who has “the best 8th grade” team at this point it seems to be a nonsensical argument at this point. LI is still one of the better areas to recruit from so regardless of team if the organization’s play in pretty much all the same tournaments the kids will be seen when the time is right plus with the surge of national teams there are other avenues besides 91/express to be seen. If the model is just about travel lacrosse programs then let’s all do ourselves a favor and get rid of the hs programs so our tax$ aren’t being wasted … any real thoughts would be appreciated becuase the best argument is getting tired already

Igloo/Legacy will be stronger, yes, (they will be one). Feel bad when they combine for kids told they are AA and left off. The ultimate Bait and switch. Express and 91 still top dogs. Rebels right there. Moose and S2S now B
