Colleges don't and will never care what your little Johnny's travel team record was or how many T-shirts he won. It's going to come down to character, skill and if he's coach-able. If he takes after you..........he's in trouble!
No need to bash the kid(s), so I'll speak on the parents, but the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. Character, and if he's coach-able, well, there are a few falling well bellow the passing grade pertaining to these characteristics...But if you look at the parents you know why.
