"Winning while cheating" and crowing about it.
I'm talking about the adults.
You would think such an exalted organization would know how to adequately field a team, and not cry about people hating them when they decide that the rules everyone else has to play by don't apply to them.
Their boys are talented enough to have had one of their own on-roster players play in goal and still win. Especially if their contention is that the "substitute" was "two years younger and not even a goalie."
The coaches actions cheated the boys out of celebrating a true win (you know, by the rules).
Probably would have won anyway--but still rings a little hollow.
Parents, you should really just tone "your" championship down a bit.
But nice work to a hard working and talented group of boys.
