Every year the WSYL is a joke because it's too far for the better teams in that particular grade. Why not have it in Philadelphia, LI or Baltimore? Every year it's the same thing 2-4 good/great teams and the rest of the teams are garbage.
Its a fun experience I am sure for the kids. End of the day are they the best 24 teams? NO. But LI is probably top 2 in the 2022 group along with t he Hawks.
And don't kid yourself it is more the age issue then distance thats why no Freedom, Crabs, Mesa, Hawks, etc as all of those 2022's have multiple reclassed kids.
