The difference between the top 3 teams nationally (Darien, McD, SPSG) is HUGE and so Maryvale is probably a true top 5 national team.
It's just that when the top 3 want to turn it on there is a huge gap between them and the next several teams in the rankings.
Congrats to #4 Maryvale (and to #6 GCS) on a tremendous season, but there is just too much talent at McD and SPSG to compete when they are playing at full blast.
