Where's everyone competing this weekend?
Looks like the teams up North are competing in Albany at Northeast Showcase. Top Gun should run the table in the top bracket against Monster, Mass Elite and Primetime.
Lax 4 the Cure looks even more competitive with NXT, Team 91, YJ, Philly Blast and Eaglestix joining the mix.
I wish there were more opportunities to see these teams play Hero's, M&D, Coppermine and Integrity. The 29 division has so much talent across the board.

Nobody said take over and who said my kids team is not top 10 already?? They are.
And top 15 is not top 5. Yes the top 15 started to inch within a goal or 2. That was the point.
Never said the bottom would all if the sudden jumpy to the top. 2026 HG lost last year to the exact same teams they lost to since 6th grade: M&D, Jesters, YJ, etc. The same teams that they smashed in 6th grade continued to get smashed through MS and HS. The only difference is that they played almost exclusively teams last year that had already been competitive with them since 6th grade. This is completely wrong. Just look on US Club Lax at their results. HG 26 lost to the top teams, but also to teams like CLC, Steps, Top Guns, Capital who they never lost to in middle school. Plus ties against other lower teams as well. They were not nearly as dominant as they had been in MS.

CLC never fell out of top 15 and is a good team. We lost to them in 6th grade too, they surprised us. The Steps game was a fluke. If i recall correctly it was a half game playoff last summer and anything can happen in those games. It would be tough to lose to cap blue in ms since team didn’t exist, ans TG dumped half of their team last year and moved from 9 to 2. Teams did improve a little and some games got tighter, but it was mostly from teams like TG and primetime replacing roster not old roster catching

Of course it was a fluke..
Steps also beat Aces for the first time was that a fluke too?
They were not has dominate. Who cares.
Teams improved and games got tighter. The end.
That’s why the chatter stops on this board as the girls get older and you stop caring so much about the club rankings and start thinking about recruiting.

Not the PP but after reading this exchange, I'm personally happy to know you'll stubbornly hold onto the belief of your DD team's total domination until you're actually proven wrong in real time. Love seeing delusional lax dads spiral on the sidelines.

And again, my kid doesn’t play for either of those teams, my 2029 is just having fun. But I have heard this “oh wait until HS” nonsense forever and it is beyond pathetic. The 2029 teams at the top will remain at top, games bw the top 15 are already close as these are 13 and 14 year olds who will be in high school NEXT YEAR, and 95% of top kids are already well known. You keep trying, but it is all anger and emotion, zero facts. The rankings haven’t changed much, and the teams that the top teams have lost to haven’t really changed at all. But you’re right, they definitely didn’t lose to Capital in middle school ;-) Such a club lacrosse expert, lmao.

The "oh wait until HS" crowd is also the same ones who corner the club director every chance to talk about how they need to showcase their kid. Most clubs have one or two, unfortunately, and they make it miserable for everyone else.

If you can read there were no comments that said “oh just wait to HS” and a good club a top club wouldn’t let parents bring that negativity anywhere near the team or club. Sorry you have a kid that plays for a club that allows that

Some good lacrosse at chesapeake today. Top teams didn’t disappoint, and scores were kind of what I expected. Was weird that ES was in b bracket, and BLC in c bracket, and I don’t think mdu has won a game this fall, a little shocked.

Top teams were awesome today. Parents were all great from those teams too. It’s JUST A GAME and today felt like most people at Copperplex realized that. Well done!

Not even associated with Heros or any of those teams and I agree. Anyone who thinks these teams won’t go back and forth for the next 4 years is nuts. I watched the M&D vs Heros game and the M&D vs. Coppermine game with my DD. There were fans from various clubs watching. It’s a special class with 3 special teams right here in Maryland. They aren’t even in Hs and they have people lining up to watch them play. That’s pretty cool. Parents of those 3 teams need to take a step back and realize how awesome that is for their daughters.

I was there too, and you are spot on. Heros will be fine. They are still stacked and are getting used to new coaches, I bet by NGLL they will be humming again. M&D was sloppy in Heros game, but they are going to have a massive year. They added some amazing players to an already amazing roster. Coppermine impressed against Heros, but seemed to run out of juice against M&D. I think having some key girls out finally bit them in game 3. NXT is a very, very good team. Well coached, athletic, and that draw girl is something else. Eagle Stix is pretty much the same as last year, top 10 but probably not top 5. Outside of that, all of the other teams were ok, but there is a sizable gap between them and the teams above.

No mention of Skywalkers from this past weekend's tourney. What's the scoop there? Will they be a factor this year in NGLL or still hovering on top 20?

Haven't had a chance to see them play but I am sure they are improved over last year and will continue to improve in the HS years.

They continue to improve their roster a little bit each summer, but unless some elite girls leave elite teams for some reason, they have appeared to have reached their ceiling. The played a relatively easy schedule at chesapeake invitational, so record looks ok, but they will get smoked by top teams.

Who's everyone playing this weekend?
Looks like NXT will be headed to Lax 4 the Cure. Will be interesting to see how they do against the NorthEast teams after playing so many of the top mid-atlantic teams earlier this fall. I think Eagle Stix will be there too.

M&D wins because they had to call out our goalie. Of course you scored in an open goal! The moms are going fool in the stands. Get a grip there was no goalie! The mom with the pom pom looks dense. Please act your age.

Some great teams at Lax 4 the Cure this weekend. NXT did not disappoint. Team 91 was legit. YJ and Monster played in the 2nd division but looked very strong. Eagle Stix battled in every game. TG probably should have been in a lower division - the struggled in the top group. Philly Blast and Mass Elite struggled to hang with the top teams. After watching both divisions here's how I'd rank the teams:
1. Team 91 2. NXT 3. YJ 4. Monster 5. Eagle Stix 6. TG 7. Philly Blast 8. Mass Elite

As you obviously know, we won 5-3, so even without the open goal goal, we would have still prevailed. Nice try though. We'll be just fine without your congratulations.
