Funny some dad is hanging his hat on HoCo, when you play one game a week and the weather @ChillLaxin. They played 25-30 games this summer against solid national competition and got put through the woodchipper. 1 and 16. Find some better coaches for those kids, they’ve got good players. But can’t beat anyone at the moment

And yet NL beat every HOCO team this year but Hawks. Guess there are a lot of non-elite teams in the area. I don't get the point of this dumping on NextLevel. Perhaps the team has underperformed a bit, but if they are ranked 34th, they aren't supposed to beat teams in the top 30, and keep in mind that half of the teams in the top 30 are national all star teams anyhow. Beating everyone in HoCo except Hawks and FCA is no great shakes, because there ARE a lot of non-elite teams in the area. Team 91, MadLax, and Team Money are definitely not elite, and DC Express is getting there, but they were awful back in the spring when NL beat them. The fact that NL beat Crabs in a playoff game could actually be proof of GOOD coaching, since they got their only top 30 win in a playoff game when it mattered most.

Maryland movement so far. MD fogo who played with 2 way was not asked back apparently. Hawks seems to have lost a few to other elite teams. Hearing crabs picked up some players from PA, maybe reclasses. FCA making the biggest gains. Not sure clippers had the stream in AAA to draw in any real talent. DCE and ML will be about the same. Wondering if high school choices played into any movement. Correction- that fogo didn’t go to the 2way tryouts instead chose the local team he played with in the summer and I think also stuck with his national team.

Wondering if high school choices played into any movement. My son heard rumors about players moving among DCE, NL, and MadLax. movement among those rosters ont he bottom third of the rosters chasing playing time is to be expected, but did any starters change from one of those teams to another? No, there were rumors of something bigger but the players who moved were all on the roster bubble. A number of the ML players went to other tryouts but found rosters already full or otherwise a lack of mutual interest. This is correct as far as I know. ML kids were out at all the tryouts, but there just weren’t/aren’t many spots a bailable, both NL and DCE rosters are solid. I did hear that DCE has officially filled their gap at FOGO (a kid who played 2Way and Red Hots I’m told) and the FOGO from NL went to Madlax due to a loss of playing time. Other than that, some kids who are looking to find playing time might have jumped around, but no starters as the pp noted That FOGO's parents have had him on the roster of 5 elite clubs and 2 MIAA schools in the last 12 months. He's extremely talented and I hope his parents let him settle into some high level success this year. With hoco that number isn’t even possible. You keep posting this and no one cares but you. Please grow up and worry about your own kid, who has also played on multiple teams and also started a new school this year. This forum is to talk about lacrosse not for failed attempts at “anonymously” taking shots at individuals.

Can anyone enlighten me on the 2028 NE Select thing? S2S, Legacy (LegRush), Igloo, Madlax and Mooselax (thoought they didn't have a 28 team). Are these Select teams money grabs? Is there any benefit to trying out? Does anyone know the cost? Is it worth it to even bother trying out? Thanks

So their kid could could play a few minutes in a game while paying for the highest price club in the DMV? Or is there other reasons to join? I honestly would like to know.

Anyone who has been associated with that club knows what a bad guy he is. Those who stay choose to ignore the behavior… getting kicked out of tournaments for putting hands on refs, drawing penalties non stop for unsportsmanlike behavior on sidelines, quitting when his team is getting blown out, the list goes on nd on and on… unfortunately, the other two elite club teams are full. So unless someone comes along and starts a legit 3rd club team in this area, he’ll patch together 40 kids, many from out of out area who are not aware of this guy’s psychotic behavior

Don't know what you're talking about So why are you complaining. Little Johnny isnt a lacrosse player by your own admission so dont complain about the club. Youre just disappointed in your kid. Thats on you not on Cab. Cab would have made him a student of the game, a student and a lacrosse player.......be sure you give Johnny a trophy, tell him he is great and his B average will get him in to Charleston.

Don't know what you're talking about Either this is a really solid effort to pull off a middle school lax version of Three Year Letterman ( https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/17...ckground-youth-football-coaching-legend/) - and if so, I robustly support same - or CM has hired a guy in Mumbai for a few pennies a month.

If your kid plays lax at Episcopal (or sumilar JV program) you can still come on BOTC and complain about club......but most elite players play for legit lax HSs and won't think about club until the summer.
