2030 Circuit this past weekend, wow, what a shift in size and age, wasn't expecting kids to be that big and strong. Guess people were right, we will see older kids moving down, just wasn't ready for such a drastic change. Going to be a long summer

Nationals are cheaters - always were, always will be, every age group. Same can be said for most National Programs. Apologies for frustration, son played and thought it was meh. Florida was not fun. Research the founders of Nationals and you’ll see why it’s a shady program

Buyer beware on Nationals, Red Hots and a few others. These programs feast on over zealous families willing to pay their tuition, just so they can say their son is on a national team and playing in the circuit, as they think that’s the pinnacle of youth lacrosse. Meanwhile at every event guest players will show up, playing more minutes, roster change at every event and the ones paying tuition mostly don’t belong there. Age also doesn’t matter, win at all costs, promote it on social 24/7, rinse repeat, the lacrosse freaks who have lacrosse fomo will continue to show up and pay while the guest players will continue to show up not pay.

Been through this before with my older guy. 6th/7th grade is a puberty year. All of a sudden your son is good and he wasn’t before, it’s because he’s becoming a man playing against boys. Trust me it all levels off in a year or two. Many of the kids that are big and strong now won’t be so big and strong when others catch up!

Great competition all weekend for 2030’s at the NAL. Top teams played tight games, with a lot of talent all around. Looking at pool play and bracket scores, it really could have went to any of the top 12 seeds. Should be a fun summer of LAX for these kids battling every game. Dukes Elite played well. Strong group, and well deserved.

Is no one going to mention Rebels Aces showing at NAL, oh boy. The director came on here and offered (really threatened) to play any team, any time and place…now they just finished the weekend 0-5, the only team without a win all weekend. Brutal

Legacy 30 parents are the worst of any I have ever seen and not just lax any sport. Not a game goes by when they aren’t fighting with another team, the refs or each other!

The one Legacy dad needs to teach the refs the faceoff rules and mechanics. For some reason when his kid loses, he tells the ref what he did wrong. He doesnt realize how dense he sounds our he just doesnt care.

My son is a 2030 Goalie from Northeastern Fairfield County and by all accounts he's pretty good. I didn't grow up with lacrosse and am learning as I go, but lately opposing teams have been telling me he is the best goalie they have seen. I want to help him and give him every opportunity I can to be the best, so I am looking for help.
The following teams are all within driving distance for us and viable options.
Can you please rank them and let me know which ones trains their goalies the best?
Eclipse 2-Way South
Dragons Cavalry Wolves
Team-CT 2-Way North
He currently plays for one of the mentioned clubs in the summer and fall, plays sixes with another in the winter and goes to any available training year round.
I would like to make sure he gets the best training he can get because I have maxed out how much I can help him lol.
I am also open to any advice anyone wants to give me. Thanks
Connecticut Goalie Dad 2030

Those parents have forced many kids to leave and have even chased off a great coach who now coaches for the better 30s team.

LI Express 2030 is overrated - 91 CO beat Cyclones not once but twice. Cyclones looked mediocre against that Duke’s team at NAL so slow down on crowning them

Duke's had good timing, must have been an off day for the Cyclones. Dukes are not better than Cyclones, but sounds like they had their number that day. Good teams lose and then get better. I watched the NL/Cyclones game yesterday and that could be described as a clinic. NL spanked us in the semis but watching the Cyclones my son and I were even more impressed. Every part of their game is on point, yes their fogo is very good, but every other aspect of their team from defense, draw, offense, coaching, etc. are excellent. It was great to watch as a parent and for my son to see the unselfish play.

For the record, the Cyclones have beaten Next Level twice this year, granted the first one was right after they had just finished playing Dukes. Dukes first win vs the Cyclones came at the NAL, prior to that none of the games were close. NAL reported an illegal player(s) on their roster, but didn't hold them accountable.
