They’re always at tri star, and that’s next weekend

Rush is playing frost,true,LI and true westchester this weekend.

Question: You're on Venom but didn't see the field on Sunday. Obviously the coaches worry about the best kids and making them happy and wanting them to stay. Is it worth staying and getting the practices or is it more important seeing the field and being a big contributor on another team?

Would agree, someone trolling on Venom. Playing time is a constant debate amongst parents, players, and coaches. Just let your kid have fun, if they aren't, then maybe it's time to take up a pottery or drawing class. If your kid isn't outside on bounce back or doing things on their own, then again, time to rethink all the money you spend.

They should seek advice from the Chucks parents with their constant growing roster.

Man… why does it seem that people cannot accept losing and immediately pivot to the team is cheating. Instead of incessant whining, have your coach or director approach the tourney director and address it there. Very simple.

Coaches have addressed it with them, but it still happens.

They shouldn’t join on age tournaments now?

If this is true and you stay on the team then you are just as bad as the director. There are obviously other options on LI

Normally I would agree with you that every time teams lose there is the older kids played excuse. However, sadly in this case it’s 100% true! Same club had a 2027 from California guest play with their 2028’s this past fall and currently have a few 2027 playing on their AA team.

why would a 2027 parent want their kid to play 2028?

Venom is the only consistently good team on the island.

Chucks having team made up of mostly former rebels and lumberjax is hurting them.

Legacy continues to only beat weaker teams. They have been like this for years I guess they are consistent also.

Too bad the Lacrosse world is bigger than Long Island

Legacy beat FCA, they are ranked 15, so they did beat a strong team this weekend

And 2way beat Crabs twice this weekend

Crabs is a mid pack team, same with FCA. Good on Venom for winning. 2 Way riding high, they’ve become a national team. Might as well claim LI too. How did Lax Clash become the strongest tourney of the summer is anyone’s guess, should make for a good weekend.

I don’t think anyone is claiming that.
I think they were stating that a holdback team beat another really saturated with holdbacks team. One from west Chester/ct. the other from Maryland. Just like FCA, a known holdback team also from Maryland, lost to a Long Island team that has zero holdbacks.
