That last good S2S team was 2023! They will be history soon! Nah the 28 team is a good team. Right up there as 3rd-5th best team in the island, depending on the day. Not bad considering there are probably close to 20 teams in the 28 age group locally.

S2S Daddy pipe dreams: “Don’t worry Son, I’m telling you, you’re on the 3-5th best team on LI.” Meanwhile the best 3-5 LI teams are not even in the top 50 in Nation.

The 2028 s2s team has a few kids that should play but should probably move on to Express or Venom.

You people are so pathetic and so uneducated about the lacrosse world it makes me cringe. They are fine. There are literally 15 other teams on Long Island that are not as good as them. And chances are pretty high that the parents and players on that team are just fine with where they stand on the island and across the nation. Worry about your own kids and stop trying to define “good.” And of course the best 3-5 teams are barely cracking the top 50. Long Island is watered down, young, and have no fly ins at this age. Go to the 2028 Maryland board and read about the kids who fly in every single weekend from other states to compete in the HOCO league. Or hear them debate whether the hawks or the crabs have more holdbacks. Or maybe have your kids fill you in on the “incoming” freshman class at Brunswick. Then come back on here and explain how more than 1-2 teams locally could possibly compete with the top 50 at this age. 100% impossible. It’s beyond laughable that you people can’t comprehend these things.

Come on guy.... The fact that they played an all 7th grade team tells you all you need to know. I was proud of how our guys fought and played all day.

express chucks is on a different level but all the other teams that played this weekend looked to be pretty competitive Alot of horses hitched to that Chucks wagon. There were at least 20 on the sideline. Some kids only play 1 shift , if that. Then you get the - ‘my son was asked to help out with the Orange team’ excuse.

Express Orange needed more Chucks players. Chucks cruised all day. Surge had help from some Venom players. BTB had their usual crew but struggled. 860 was almost all 2Way players. 91 Tristar solid showing. Rebels Black 0-3 despite a couple of close games.

Chucks parents posting scores on FB like they accomplished something. Anytime you win by 10 or more, you are in the wrong tourney. Maybe challenge all your players instead of having kids that dont get in watch a select few dominate.
