Easy there! It's fall ball....means nothing!

WI still relevent, Ward Melville, Westhampton vs Hills West, Mt Sinai vs SWR and in Nassau Garden City, CSH, Wantagh and Plainedge are all relevant.

The season kicks off Friday 3/22 with some dandies.
Hills East @ Smithtown West
Commack @ WI
Riverhead @ Northport

Week 2 has most teams scheduled to play 3 games (Tues/Thur/Sat). Will weather impact the first few games is always a crap shoot. This week could prove to be a tough one for Bay Shore, Commack, and Hills East. With a 1/4 of the schedule planned to be completed by 3/30, this should separate the teams in the rankings.

SH/EH/BH/Pier/Ross is now playing A schools? Smithown East, Hills East, Connetquot have them on the schedule. WHY?

Why is Riverhead and Connetquot playing on a lot of the lowest ranked teams' schedules. Brentwood, Longwood, Copaigue, North Babylon, Middle Country. There are 17 teams other teams in League I for Riverhead and Connetquot to play. No reason what-so-ever to play a majority of the bottom 7 teams if you are, or claim to be, a top 7 team. I can see maybe playing two of the teams (1 for certain) but 4 or 5 of the last 7 teams in the league. Thought Riverhead and Connetquot would have had a tougher schedules. Don't complain about points later in the season if the wins are there but not the rankings.

It seems a late Easter/passover hurts the chances of another Saturday game in late April. Lets see how much changes between now and Jan.

Farmingdale is a complete money grab , last year the fields were unsafe and they did not cancel . The teams are looking at the same conditions again this year, when we learn not to do these notIntelligent fall tourneys .

Did Rotanz sell the Fall Invite to DLT boys. It's probably at a discount. Where else could you play. His buddy at St. Joe's field?

At least it's not forecasted to rain, wonder how the field near the tennis courts will fair. The Turf and the field across from pool house is always in good shape..

Saw most of these and the hen some. Some good some Ugly and some head scratchers. On a positive note, the fields held up nicely.

I have to disagree. There were great coaches all over the place, and the fields we played on were in great condition. Just a shame that most of the teams were sophmores playing because there were other showcases and football going on.

HHE they are really bad and have come off huge from last year , Port Wash had a couple of decent players and WI does not have the only thing that might save them is their faceoff guy

WI has more than a couple D1 caliber players: Goalie, D, middie, Attack. And then the fogo. And then the next tier. Not sure of their depth. Lot of others team's have some depth but They'll be in the mix. I didn't mention them above because they have the football game. I hope your comments weren't just from Sunday. If they were, they are short sided, if thy weren't then I'd question your knowledge on this year's teams
