Wait..... Which Outlaws team went 0-3? Gold? Isn't the SELECT team going to Colorado? It's not a great day to be an Outlaw. Shhhh keep the secret. Otherwise we'll hear from PB on here. Let it go. You keep bringing up the same crap. Nobody from the Outlaws 2023 Select team comes on this site and ever claims to be better or worse than another team. They don't make claims they will be going to Denver and they don't try to belittle other clubs. They are trying to get better and this weekend was a good step in that direction. They went 0-3 but all games were hard fought and each of the opposing coaches would back that up.

Inside lacrosse just released U13 world rankings. Anyone surprised Sweetlax is on there when they don't have a World Series team yet. They going off of prior 2023 teams?

[ Interesting, #2 was knocked off by an unranked team on Saturday at their own tournament, as usual pre-season rankings don't mean SH*%! Same can be said for the WSYL, major money grab, that means nothing a year after families spend thousands of dollars to fly out to Denver to pound their chests!

Someone is angry....We all know the rankings are BS....If they were legit S2S would be on that list. It was a good game and congrats to S2S!... I would imagine that your son doesn't play for either team and probably wont be going to Denver...No need to criticize others. The teams that won the WSYL the last three years have pretty much proven to be the best at their grade level and had to get by some very good talent in order to win.... Enjoy the fall and try and let go of some of that animosity. Its not healthy

Not to knock legacy, but 14, really? Please, what do these pollsters do, check scores every week. Get injury reports and advance scouting. If you believe in this ranking stuff call 911 immediately, you’ve just overdosed on the koolaid. this list almost reads how which club runs the most tournaments.

No it was the smartest because he said what a lot of people are thinking. 2/3 of the teams there can barley compete in the B bracket on LI, so this is just a tournament between the top 6 and 4 of them from LI and the eventual champion from our area. Why go out there? To make memories and chest bump?

I watched the Dukes/Igloo semi-final game - best game of the tourney. Igloo was impressive with their ball movement and adjusted their game plan from Saturday to Sunday. Both teams looked sharp for fall ball.

In fact, it's going to grow. The people behind this know how to get things done. Plus they have corporate sponsors and TV. Is it a lot money, yes. But not a money grab. why? The feedback from people I know that went said it's incredible. I suspect that clubs will soon have separate tryouts for a WSYL U13 team, forget doing that is another revenue stream opportunity. Winning this or being on TV is very good for the club's respective brand. Plus that U based team can go play in the new NXT event as well.

Right, just like the waste of time "Warrior Games" from last summer. $1,000 for some really nice gear and 2 days of beating up on other LI kids who didn't make their team but were asked to fill the other teams that couldn't get enough kids. Have fun lining up with all the other lemmings....

The unranked team is a NATIONAL TEAM comprised of players that don't live 100 miles from home operations of the club. WSYL expressly forbid it. Like saying that the American League All Stars is a better team than the New [lacrosse] Mets. We went to the WSYL last year. Phenomenal event. Kids had a blast turned it into family vacation. Colorado is beautiful in the summer, awesome swag etc. We have been to a ton of tournaments on the circuit and there is nothing that comes even close. My experience is that the Naysers fall into the following categories: 1. From Maryland and since all the clubs are re-classed they don't qualify. 2. Have an agenda vested into a local tourney that competes with the WSYL such as Young Guns in Maryland same, weekend. 3. Are just a negative person and the world just sucks .

Shore 2 Shore is a national team? Since when?

Someone is angry....We all know the rankings are BS....If they were legit S2S would be on that list. It was a good game and congrats to S2S!... I would imagine that your son doesn't play for either team and probably wont be going to Denver...No need to criticize others. The teams that won the WSYL the last three years have pretty much proven to be the best at their grade level and had to get by some very good talent in order to win.... Enjoy the fall and try and let go of some of that animosity. Its not healthy No animosity, just saying these rankings don't mean anything. For the record, my son plays for S2S.

Please don't leave out my kid was held back and is to old to qualify with his team. So I will throw stones at great lacrosse concept -an age appropriate tournament.. the concept- play, compete have fun with boys your own age. Thank God some one is trying to get it right!!!
