So based on your wisdom S2S didn't play any quality teams, therefore when they beat your express A team at one one the blatent tournaments, this must make you one of this low quality teams also....

You poor thing. You're basing the stature of your team on a fall tournament? Come on now, we all know that fall tourneys don't mean anything. Fall is a time for trying new things, new kids, new positions, etc... the only tourneys that matter are in the summer. Did you play any real tournaments last summer? I don't think I saw your team anywhere.

Why do fall tournaments not matter? Do you make the rules?

They only matter if the express wins. If they lose then all of a sudden it does not matter. S2S beat you get over it.

All tournaments matter, that's why the kids play games. To win. Losers like to start chirping excuses. Very funny!

What are you even talking about?

Talking about PB and his arrogance.

I guess arrogance must be in the eye of the beholder. My son is on the team and we have not witnessed any arrogance on the part of PB or any of the coaches.

This must be your first year. I saw a lot of them at tryouts also.

Because they are a good group of kids that are very competitive and have a good coach. For a fairly newer program they have proven that they have grown in their lacrosse play and IQ which makes them a dangerous team to compete against. Other programs/parents want to drag them into their soap opera lives because misery loves company.

Or it's because they're not very good, play in weak tourneys and claim to be one of the top teams on the island.

We don't claim anything.....it's the pot stirrers that claim that. As for not "being any good" and playing in weak tournaments; you know where to find us and/or contact our coach to play/scrimmage......oh that's right, you don't have a kid that plays.

Fl$ secret? It is no secret. They charge a lot of money and most tournaments they enter are their own tournaments and sometimes do tournaments with 3D. These are B level tournaments but since they run the tournament they can call it an A bracket. FL$ at their own tournaments set up the brackets so they play the worst teams and put the best teams in the other brackets Top two make the play offs from each bracket and they get smoked by a better B team in the playoffs after going undefeated beating C teams in pool play. They then tell their parents how good they did by making the playoffs when in reality they only beat the three worst teams that joined the tournament. 2018 is FL$ last good team. After that they are B and C teams at FL$. It's no secret. You never see them at the good tournaments at any age group. If they went they would have to enter the B bracket and explain to the parents why they are not playing in the A bracket. Easier to enter their own tournaments call the bracket filled with B teams an A bracket which they don't pay for and charge the parents a lot of money and control who they play to get in the playoffs. It is that simple.

You get great coaching and they run some great clinics, as of this 2023 team I heard they made some improvements this year.

F%G seems like a very well run organization, coaching, clinics, etc. But as another poster indicated, you don't see their teams around, they sanction their own tournaments which allow them to bracket their teams to their advantage. At this point who really knows the level of talent the organization has attracted, but the $3900.00 price tag(swag and all) is a bit too rich for my flavor. Even if considered, practices would have to be held around the corner for me for that price. All in all, there are great coaches and kids apart of this organization like many others.

Regarding F$G, why would somebody pay all that money to be on an B/C team, I know they are not seen much at tourneys but they have to be competitive and have good teams for people to pay that kind of money.

Unless those choosing this team for their sons are paying with your money, why do you care?

They have grades where their teams are more competitive - not sure they are worth the $ even then considering there are cheaper programs that are at the same level as they are. That said, you seem to be another one that thinks the lax world exists as AA and then everyone else are B and C teams. Once again, particularly on LI, there are a bunch of teams that are not AA but ARE A that fall between AA and B.

Empire needs new attack. All 3 starters are no threat against good teams. When is the last time they beat anyone good? Can't score with the good teams. Everyone knows that.

S2S should really be playing in town tournaments with the amount of kids from Manhasset on the team.

who cares other than you? you must be pretty bored to have to think about this all day, enough for you to post it. maybe you work at a gas station, and it pisses you off that they are car pooling and not making them fill up at your place. why don't you throw some nails into the street so they have to stop to get their flat fixed.

all we've seen the last couple days is "team x" sucks, etc etc. are you that uptight and insecure? i hope your kid is able to tune you out for his own sake. you must be a dream to be around.

He/she has a point. Fall tournaments are used to see what's working and what isn't. Generally, there are new kids that coaches are trying to get a feel for (at different positions). Also, not everyone takes fall seriously. There are players that don't show for practices/tournaments, etc... The boys play/practice all fall, winter and spring to prepare for the summer season. Of course they want to win all of the tourneys that they enter (coaches AND players), but make no mistake, it is all prep for the summer.

Why not True Blue? Are they afraid? The coaches are big talk and NO action for the biggest baddest club on LI. Blatant is supposed to be the best tournament as spoken by "anonymous".
