What is the best fall tournament on Long Island? It depends on which teams go to what. Blatant usually gets a nice turnout. Columbus day one has had decent teams show up. And Tri Star the day after Thanksgiving has had good competition.

The day after Thanksgiving Tri Star starts to get weak by seventh grade because less teams go and teams that do go are never close to full strength anyway. But that one is probably number three.

I think with Express A showing last year in tournaments and there additions this off season puts them ahead of the Bandits and make them the preseason #1. Anyone want to complete 2-10 or 2-5 ok primetime dad that just switched Ill play along on LI 1. Bandits beat express soundly last time out added top defensemen 2. express- beat Bandits once got beat up second time. suspect coaching, added talent 3. True Blue on the Rise talented with good coaching 4.Igloo starting to lose talented kids huid from big tournaments 5. S2S Good core of talent added some quality players 6. Empire 7. Outlaws Outlaws can be subbed with 91 Warriors. Igloo needs to drop a little more. Other than that this is a good outline going in. Who knows who will come out on top. How can Empire be #6 when they beat #3 True Blue. BTW until TB beats Igloo & S2S they will always be ranked behind them. TB tied S2S 2 years ago. And TB went to OT with Express. Last time S2S played Express they got smoked. Looking forward to next meet up! TB also got smoked by Express in their first meeting 13 to 5. Sad when you base your average season on one game that you almost won. If it wasn't 95 degrees that day and we didn't have to play back to back games and you didn't use holdbacks and then we would of won.

TB struggled against out of state teams that were not even that good. They did not come close to playing the best teams at NXT and did not do well. They made some questionable player moves this tryout season. Taking bench players from other teams or kids from other teams B team shows that TB was either not that good this past season if these kids make an impact or they won't make any impact at all and TB will not improve. Don't expect much from TB this season.

All the people posting about TB are not TB parents, its some dbag trying to be funny. All you dads out that keep responding are even dumber for going back and fourth. The kids are 12 years old who cares whose team is better or ranked #1 as long as they get better have fun is all that should matter as a parent. Unfortunately half of the dads on here never played a sport and they are living through there kid. 90% of the kids can care less what the name on there jersey is, they just want to have fun with there friends and play Lax.

Outlaws will be top 5 team LI this year. No parent from the Outlaws are making any such predictions. Similar to the previous post, kids are just looking to get better and, with a significant number of players returning, have a stable platform to continue to improve.

It is usually in October so the weather is still good. Are there better tournaments off Long Island? probably. But for Fall ball and Locale it is a great option.

The TriStar Express run tourneys are awful and glorified play days. They are moving from Post Thanksgiving to the last week in Oct this year but buyer beware. Channy must have thanksgiving plans this year.

Channy must have thanksgiving plans this year. Maybe because people do travel that weekend and there is another tourney LI that Saturday. What should we all be wary of, btw. The tourney has been well run in the past both the Summer and Fall events. My guess is they will bring in some out state teams by moving the date. Thanks for useful and insightful input...

Is S2S's A team really an "A" team? Sometimes yes sometimes no. They are somewhat of a hybrid team. When they are at full strength with they Honey Badgers they could be considered an A team. But when tournaments conflict not so much.

They beat Outlaws and Legacy. Never played the Bandits, who had beaten them the previous summer and they never played Igloo but who from the Island did?
